3D TV

3D T.V. is the latest technology craze. It is giving a wow picture effect. 3D means 3 dimensions- length, width and depth or height. In real world which is 3D, we see 3D with our 2 eyes. The 2 eyes are spaced apart. Due to this , one eye sees an image and the other eye sees same image a little later. This causes the effect of depth. If we try to see with one eye only, we would not be able to sense depth or height.
Same concept is used in 3DT.V. There are 4 types of 3D t.v. One is the oldest and called Anaglyph. Second is Polariser. Third is shutter glass and the fourth is lenticular.
The source of 3D has to be either 3d transmission or else a blue ray generator giving HDMI 1.4 or HDMI1.4a output has to be used. While using a blue ray dvd, one also has to load a 3D recorded c.d. 3D recording is done using 2 cameras, one records pictures for left eye and the other records pictures for right eye.
Several companies have introduced 3D LED TVs in the market. Prominent are LG,Samsung etc.
